City’s Traffic & Parking Board Meeting on 7/25

This is a reminder that the City’s Traffic & Parking Board will meet next Monday, July 25, at 7pm, and all members of the public can attend in person or virtually.

On the docket for this meeting is the matter of Potomac Greens’ forthcoming parking district and the hours of enforcement in that district. As indicated at last month’s PG Board meeting, the City’s Transportation & Environmental Services (TES) staff plans to recommend enforcement of a two-hour parking restriction, 8am-5pm, Monday-Saturday despite receiving surveys from our community showing that PG residents would prefer different hours (i.e., 8am-11pm).

Details of TES’s recommendation can be found here, beginning on pg. 30. If you are strongly in favor of or against TES’s recommendation, please attend next week’s meeting and voice your opinion to the Traffic & Parking Board. If you’d like to attend in person, the meeting will be held in the City Council Chamber at 301 King St. To attend virtually, click the Zoom link for the July 25 meeting here.

All best–
The PG HOA Board
