Global Com, Inc informed us they will install a new underground conduit telecommunications line from the Alex Renew pump station to Potomac Greens Drive so Verizon can provide ethernet services to monitor the pump station remotely. They will place the line in the public right-of-way along the fence that separates Potomac Greens from Old Town Greens (see photo). There will be minimal disturbance to the grounds, and Global Com will restore them to the original condition after the construction is complete.

Global Com estimates the permitting process will take 2-4 weeks. They will notify us one week before construction starts and expect it will take five days to complete the project.
