In the last few weeks there has been an increase in the number of construction trucks going north and south on Potomac Greens Dr. Some residents have expressed concern that the trucks are leaving a lot of residue and dirt on the road, despite the expectation that their tires would be washed before leaving the construction area at the north end of the neighborhood. Our community’s liaison to the Potomac Yard Metro Implementation Group (the PYMIG), Steve Crime, reached out to a Metro representative, Fred Robertson, and Steve and Fred’s exchange about this matter is available here: 1.10.2020 email  Steve and members of the PG Board aren’t sure whether the change in Metro’s and the builders’ procedure (described in the above link) is acceptable, so they’re reaching out to the City for more info.
