Dear PG neighbors–
It’s springtime, the weather is warming up, and that means more people are out and about to enjoy the amenities that our neighborhood has to offer. With that in mind, the Board kindly requests your help with a few matters around our community to keep it well maintained and enjoyable for all residents.
– If you use the gym in the clubhouse:
- Please keep the windows closed to help with the temperature and moisture control. The Board has recently taken steps to adjust the room’s thermostat more frequently and we hope this will allow users to workout comfortably. If you do open a window, then we ask that you remember to close it before departing the gym, and if you enter the gym and find a window open we ask that you close it.
- If you use the remote control for the TV while working out, please leave it beneath the TV monitor when you leave so that others can find it and use it.
- We also ask that gym users follow the gym etiquette of wiping down the machines after you use them so they are ready for the next user.
– HOA Common Areas:
- The common areas add aesthetic value to our neighborhood and we ask all residents to take pride in our common areas and to look after them for the benefit of the community. It may be tempting for children to climb trees or adults to tie ropes or exercise bands to them for exercising, however, please note that many of the common areas include ornamental trees that are fragile and we ask residents to refrain from climbing them or hanging from their branches.
- We hope that the community enjoys the new gazebo at the south end of the neighborhood, but it has come to our attention that someone used chalk to draw on its benches and on the posts and the rafters (about 10 feet high) inside the gazebo. Unlike chalk drawings on sidewalks and alleyways that wash away in the rain, the chalk in the gazebo will require someone to wash the chalk away by hand.
Thank you, friends and neighbors, for your help in keeping Potomac Greens beautiful and enjoyable for all who live here.
All best–
The PG HOA Board
