Dear Potomac Greens Residents,

First of all, we would like to thank all those in the community who decorated the exteriors of their homes and alleyways for the annual Alley Lights festivities — the illuminations brought much joy and happiness to residents and their guests during the holiday season — and is reflective of the community spirit of our Potomac Greens neighborhood.

As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of Spring and warmer weather, we also want to remind residents about their crucial role in maintaining and repairing their property.  Your attention to stoops, steps, railings, decks, and porches, whether it’s cleaning, repair, painting, or refurbishment, is vital in preserving our neighborhood’s aesthetic beauty and attractiveness.  Additionally, it is each owner’s responsibility for the upkeep of foundation plants, flowers, grass, or shrubbery within their property boundaries which contributes to our community’s overall visual appeal.

We thank those who attended or sent proxy forms to achieve quorum at the 2024 Annual Meeting held in December where HOA members elected Ms. Renee Lewis to serve on the Board of Directors. At the January HOA Board meeting, the directors decided Board positions for 2025:  Jim Welton as Board President, Steve Crime as Vice President, Pam Juba as Secretary, Renee Lewis as Treasurer, and Lisa Sawkar as Member-at-Large.

The HOA Board of Directors looks forward to continued community involvement in the HOA — please note that monthly Board meetings are scheduled to be held on the 4th Thursday of every month (except November due to Thanksgiving) in the Clubhouse.  We also encourage residents to actively participate in the community by volunteering their time to serve on one of the various HOA committees:   Finance, Landscape, Social, Communications, and the Architectural Review Board (ARB).  If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact our Community Manager, Mr. Alex Ciccarelli at:  aciccarelli@sentrymgt.com
