The City canceled the in-person PYMIG meeting scheduled for April 25, 2022. In lieu of the in-person meeting, the City posted a 12-minute video to update construction progress at the Metrorail station, North entry pavilion, and South entry pavilion. The video and slides are available here.
The April update presents numerous photos of construction progress. Slides 4-7 contain aerial photos of the Metrorail Station, North pavilion, and South Pavilion. The points where the new rail tracks will be cut-in to the existing tracks are shown in slide 8. Slides 9-16 show construction progress on the Metrorail station headhouse and platforms. Slides 14 and 21 show the stone façade on the west side of the Metrorail station and the south side of the A/C Switchgear building. PYC will install the same type of stone façade along the retaining wall on the east side of the station when the access road/pedestrian path is completed. The remaining slides (17-28) focus on the two entry pavilions, pedestrian bridges, and A/C Switchgear building.
