Dear PG neighbors–
We have two items to share:
First, a reminder that the Potomac Greens HOA Board will meet on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 7:00 -8:00 pm. Residents are welcome to attend in person at the PG Clubhouse or virtually via Microsoft Teams. If you’d like to attend the meeting, please email Christie Beruete (cberuete@sentrymgt.com), and let her know if you’ll attend in person or virtually.
For those attending virtually, Christie will send instructions for how to access the meeting by computer or phone. The Board may enter into executive session from 6:30-7:00 pm to discuss legal or contract matters. Items included on the agenda: committee reports; old business: shuttle service, Potomac Yard Metro update, parking district designation, gazebo replacement, and annual meeting procedures.
As with all Board meetings, all PG residents are welcome to attend.
Second, Potomac Yard Contractors (PYC) has been issued a noise variance for the overnight grading, fill placement, compaction, and ballast placement to connect the new station to existing WMATA tracks from Friday, October 22, at 6pm to Monday, October 25, at 7am. Activity will take place at the Station, North Pavilion site, and along the CSX rail corridor. Additionally, North West Street between the Braddock Road Metrorail Station and First Street will be closed to traffic during the same time period to facilitate continuous access to roadway manholes. Please reference and disseminate the attached notice from the project contractor Potomac Yard Constructors (PYC) regarding the work planned for this time. This notice is also posted to Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Plans and Permits.
Additional construction information, including a list of permitted and proposed before and after-hours construction dates, is available on the Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Construction webpage. Metro service delays may occur in conjunction with WMATA Roadway construction. The City encourages residents to consult WMATA’s Planned Metrorail Track Work webpage for information on service changes prior to travel.
All best–
The PG HOA Board
