The CCRs of the Association, in Article III. Section 3. (ii) Rule Making, grants the Board of Directors the power “To establish and amend from time to time, and enforce compliance with, such reasonable rules and regulations as may be necessary…” The Board created the Rules Committee in the early days of the Association. It provided invaluable assistance to the Board by recommending additional rules to govern the Association. Our Association has matured to the point that the Board is not currently working on any new rules and anticipates only minor rule changes in the future. Therefore, after careful consideration, the Board formally dissolved the Rules Committee during the March 23, 2023, Board meeting. If the need for a Rules Committee arises in the future, the Board will ask for volunteers and re-establish the Rules Committee.
